Last Monday I turned 22. It was literally the most bittersweet day in every way possible. The reason why I am posting a full week later is because I just got my life straightened back out. Yes it has taken me all of this time to get my life. When I explain why, you will understand I promise.

My day started around 5 AM, I had woken up to get ready for my birthday shoot. I planned a sunrise shoot with my favorite photographer in Boston (Miranda), and I wanted to not only do a birthday shoot, but a shoot about fall fashion as well. It was so cold my little thighs almost fell off, but you can't even tell in the photos which is nice! My knee highs literally saved my life. Not only that, but it's the Miranda Mu magic I swear. The shoot went perfectly to say the least, and I even got a FaceTime from my dad and siblings mid shoot screaming happy birthday. It was legit so happy.

The rest of my day had to be spent at school doing work, but it was still awesome. I got to be with friends and go to practice to get my ass kicked. Which to most would put a damper on their day but I was ecstatic. My team and I went out to Fire and Ice that night in the city. Fire and Ice is low-key my favorite place. For anyone who knows me, rice is my jam. And for anyone else who knows what Fire and Ice is, you know rice is their jam too. So basically my night was the bizz.

Now to move on to the bitterness. When I arrived back on campus from dinner I headed to my car and made my way home. I didn't even make it out of the entrance before I was stopped by the campus police. To spare the horrid details, I will just tell you the end result. I stood freezing in the street waiting for my mom to pick me up on the night of my 22nd birthday. I could not deal.

At least for the last week, which is why I have taken so long getting to this post. I now have my car back after many efforts by my family members. Whom I will forever be enslaved to in the highest kindness. I love you guys! No joke. Without you I would not be here to write this blog. Because I would be dead... From over exposure to pub trans.

XOXO
