Oversized Crews & Blanket Scarves
I stole this Umass men's basketball crew from my mom back in the day. I never really fit it but always loved getting cozy inside of it on cold days. I was absolutely bored with my selection for tops and sweaters this morning so I decided to try something a bit different. Something more casual. I figured I would pair it with my favorite new grey high waists from Primark, to give the look a theme of heather grey. I love matching grays because it is so minimal but can be assembled in so many different ways. Today was an over-sized crew.
I found this blanket scarf at Maddy's when I realized my outfit wasn't equipped for the piercing winds. I am not really sure where she got it but it was so warm and made my outfit so much cuter. Blanket scarves also happen to be my favorite item this winter. I no longer feel comfortable leaving any warm place without a blanket scarf around my neck. It is essential especially in the northeast. I don't care what kind of jacket you have on, a blanket scarf will make it all better. Stock up.
My fabulous shades were given to me by the sauce herself. She told me I would look better in them, and that was that. This is my fist shoot with them and I have fallen in love. The are perfect pink and fantastically fabulous. I am honored to be rocking them.
I wanted to use this time to say Happy belated Birthday to The Fashion Sauce - I was supposed to be at your gathering but flaked because I am unworthy, but I still hope you had the best time. I am grateful to have met you and to have you in my life.
