Black Based Minimal Fashion

Since the start of my new job I have effortlessly transitioned into an all black wardrobe. I had always noticed that my go to outfits consisted of black 90% of the time, but you really learn your style dressing for retail on a daily basis. What you feel confident in is very important especially when you are working with people striving to perfect their personal wardrobe and image.

I find that I am always pushing minimal fashion onto people not because I think it is best, but because I think it is important to start with the essentials. More times than not we have outfit anxiety because we feel like we have nothing to wear - but imagine having an automatic "plan B" every morning simply because you paid attention to the basics.

Style isn't measured by how many items of clothing you have, nor the tier of clothing that you own. It is how you wear what you have that creates style. Find what is essential and comfortable for you and make sure you morph that into your wardrobe foundation. Apparently for me that means buying all basics in the color black.

Here are some shots from the work week...
