Living minimally is definitely a huge lifestyle change. I recently found that shopping minimal is not only better for a more refined look, but better for my wallet as well. I have been making sure only to spend money on things I can wear seasonally and minimally. Seeing as most of my wardrobe is black and white with tonal splashes, I should be able to mix and match just about anything. Street style is my niche but I am particularly interested in minimal style because I feel it translates greatly into ones lifestyle. Just imagine how pivotal getting dressed in the morning can be for your day. For me personally, if I have trouble getting dressed in the morning I am frazzled and not just that - I feel very disorganized and lose a bit of confidence. I need that extra time in the morning to look over everything, making sure everything is tucked in the right place. I have even been adding a detail sock to my looks recently! I just feel that they give my minimal outfits a little something extra and they are also super cute.
Today I wanted to highlight the Torcy Sweater because it is one of my favorite new pieces. To me it felt like a two for one. A cardigan and trench all together. It is a heavy knit and has a very sturdy material holding it together. It also has belt loops with a matching woven belt that can be worn tied in the front or the back. I wore this sweater everyday for like a week when I first got it. Which isn't even gross because I literally found that many different ways to wear it. So guys, here is the Torcy Sweater from Wilfred at Aritzia...my new child.
