Yesterday I was apart of an executive fashion show put on privately by Puma. Photos were not permitted so I only have these selfies to show - but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to talk about the experience. Everything was such a rush last week. For starters I requested off for the show before knowing I was even picked for the show. I showed up last Wednesday at Puma headquarters in Westford thinking I would be fitted, but to my surprise they were still in the selection process - so I obviously showed them my walk and left feeling super confident. Before the day was out I was notified and told that I was expected Friday for a fitting. I GOT IT!
I come across so many accomplished models and realize they get work like this all of the time, however it has been hard for me to juggle bookings with work and everything else that I have going on. The fact that I planned ahead and was able to walk in this show was not only a huge accomplishment for me but it helped me validate that I can in fact juggle everything I love. I am drawing back a little at work which is giving me more time to work on other things. I have been consistently booking about two gigs a week while working a full time schedule. The people I have met and continue to meet every shoot have been amazing and inspiring. Pushing me to a new place when it comes to developing my brands and my career. I am so grateful I was able to attend and slay the show this weekend. And I am also so happy and blessed to have met such amazing souls along the way. I'm not sure what it is but true friendships are made while waiting for a show to be produced. Thank you Puma for allowing me this experience, I hope to work with you guys in the future!
