Best Bookshelves In Boston 2016

image.jpg

I wanted to treat today's post as a sort of journal entry. I just so happened to find myself at a book store that I haven't been to in a while. I was so grateful to have stopped by. I of course saw a billion books that I wanted, but could only pick two. Amidst looking through the beautiful store I got inspired to tell you guys what my favorite stores were. As a Boston resident I take pride in the small shops that give my city character. I love grabbing coffee and going to my shops to do work, or to pick out new books. I don't know about you guys but there is nothing like cracking open a brand new book. Tablets are nice, but I really appreciate being able to flip the page.

So I have owed my brother $20 for probably the last 5 years. No joke. He gave me the opportunity for a clean slate today by asking me to bring him to Cambridge to fix his phone. Seeing as I had the day off I accepted the offer and silently noted my victory. Long story short, we were walking toward the entrance of the iPhone repair place and I came across The Harvard Book Store! I legit died, ask Jay. He was laughing at me because he told me I looked like a tourist, even though I have lived in Boston my entire life. I even bought a postcard that says Boston on it, I thought it would be so cute mixed in with a picture collage :) I also picked up Yes Please by Amy Poehler and Not That Kind Of Girl by Lena Dunham. I will let you guys know what I think of them in a later post.
