Eat Minimally // Part 3

Revently I have been feeling like SH$%! I am not really sure if it is the bipolar weather or my normal chronic migraines, but my days have been feeling a lot sicker lately. Maybe I am just paying closer attention but I am noticing that a lot of the things I consume daily my body doesn't really like. Not only that but I am starting to feel fatigued and just plain flushed most of the time. I used to play basketball here and there but with work it is just impossible. I am juggling too many things and struggle to find time to sleep. It is too much - but I have been looking for ways to ease the stress, and ways to feel a bit better.

Eating the right things will boost your energy and this will allow you to be your best self everyday. If you are worried like I was about the things you may not be getting in your diet you should look into vitamins or natural supplements. A friend of mine told me recently about an app that sends you customized vitamins every month. I am looking into instilling this service and upping my vegetable intake. I also went vegan for a week and allowed myself to see what it was like and to be honest, it is just not something I can commit to right now. I have however stopped eating meat so heavily and only eat it about twice a week. For the rest of the week I have been doing more to learn new recipes, and have been cooking vegetable meals with no meat. It is definitely a transition but the energy boost is worth it. I am able to stay up later and I have energy to get through the entire day. 

I came up with the concept "eat minimally" just to get you guys thinking about what you are actually putting into your body everyday. Something as small as your dairy intake or lack of greens can be the key to what is going on with you physically. All and all start to think about what you are eating. It will only help you out in the long run, and why wouldn't you want to feel fantastic now?

Search for a way to be active 1-2 times per week.

ACTUALLY go to the grocery store and pick out new things that will contribute to your healthy eating.
