Mix & Match
Its taken me a minute to get back into the swing of things regarding my styling. I’m not sure if it was the move or everything that came with it that clouded me emotionally or if I was just in a place where I needed to refocus among my new surroundings. When you leave home you lose most of your network, forcing you to redefine your sense of self within your “community”. It has taken a lot of getting used to and now I feel like I am ready to take myself a bit more seriously. Though styling is my passion I want to take that to the next level. I want to push more behind sustainability and thinking more about the environment. I want to make a point to pay attention to all of the small details that will make my brand and the ideas within it, shine. I realized that I just have to start.
STAY TUNED IN! As I will be rolling out a handful of information surrounding a big project I have in the works!
This look was thrown together using a top I literally hadn’t touched in a year, a beautiful pink hued denim I found at the Urban Surplus in Sherman Oaks, and a casual pair of Gucci shoes given to me by my uncle upon arriving to Cali. I wanted to keep it clean and minimal as always, but also wanted to get a little spicy in honor of pride month. My photographer literally killed it - she is based out of LA like me but was also born and raised in Boston MA. (@Jenny__Desrosiers)
I am going to work to do more stylings for you guys, whether it is in the form of a video or just more blog stylings like these. I have been slacking in the content department and want to make sure to do more for you guys to keep myself motivated and you guys inspired! SO with that said, shout out to Jenny for being the first to photograph me in LA! and thank you guys a million for following along and always showing me love! It really means so much to me and does so much for my hustle. Thank you <3
