YouTube Creator Collective Boston: A New Era for Our City’s Creators

This past week, I had the chance to attend the YouTube Creator Collective—a series of meet-up events designed to foster community, networking, and knowledge sharing for creators like me. This particular event was held right here in downtown Boston at The Chemist cocktail bar, and I was lucky enough to experience it with my sweet little girl group.

Let me tell you- it was a feat getting out of the house that night (shoutout to every parent who knows the constant battle with childcare!), but I made it to the tail end of the event, and wow, am I grateful I did. The energy in the room was electric. Creators were connecting, sharing stories, and exchanging ideas. So many people came up to introduce themselves to me, and I found myself doing the same - just out here mingling with other creatives who are building their visions right here in my city.

I’ve been creating content for over a decade now, and let’s be real: Boston’s creative scene has been slow to catch on. There has never been anything like this before. Content creation always felt like a niche corner of the city - something quiet, something almost gatekept, which is so wild to think about now. But things are changing, and it’s starting to really feel like a true community is forming and I am living for it. HELLO!

Huge gratitude to YouTube for making space for us to gather, throw around ideas, and spark new connections. These relationships are the roots that help us all grow, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes Boston’s creator scene.

If there’s one thing to take away: this is just the beginning.

P.S. Big things are coming! I’ll be posting a highly anticipated update on my YouTube channel soon—make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it. Subscribe here!
