The Content Creator Summit: A Love Letter to Boston’s Creative Community

This morning, I had the absolute honor of attending the first-ever Content Creator Summit hosted by Mayor Wu and her incredible team - and I’m still floating.

Held at the stunning Gupta Media space in the heart of Back Bay, the event brought together some of the most brilliant, inspiring, and tapped-in creators from all corners of Boston. From the moment I walked in, the energy was buzzing from every corner. Every single person in the room brought their own flavor, their own story, and their own deep love for the city we call home.

We swapped ideas over lunch, planting seeds for collaborations I know will grow into something powerful. But the conversations that really stuck with me were the ones about community - about how there’s space for all of us, and how important it is to uplift each other, no matter the niche, no matter the follower count.

Mayor Wu’s media team took the time to sit with us, listen to us, and speak with such transparency about how we can better bridge the gap between city government and the digital spaces we shape. And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold more gratitude, Mayor Wu herself stood up - with her daughter sleeping sweetly on her shoulder - and thanked us. Thanked us for the work we do, the stories we tell, and the love we pour into this city.

As someone who’s been in this creator space for over a decade, it meant the world to feel seen in this way. To be in a room full of changemakers, storytellers, artists, and visionaries - many of whom I’ve admired from afar or followed for years. It was a reminder that the work we do matters. That Boston is paying attention. That more space is being made for creativity to thrive right here.

To the team behind this summit - thank you for making it beautiful, intentional, and full of purpose. To every creator who showed up today, thank you for showing out and showing love. I’m walking away from this experience full, grounded, and ready to keep pouring into the community that continues to pour into me.

Here’s to the future of content in Boston, and to making sure we do it together.
